Your suggested itinerary

Day 01

Arrive in Srinagar — Dal Lake

Meet your driver at Srinagar airport and transfer to your hotel or pre-arranged houseboat. Keep the afternoon relaxed after your flight. If arrival time allows, enjoy a shikara ride on Dal Lake, passing the lakefront and houseboats; the ride is subject to weather and the services listed in your quote. Late arrivals simply settle in, with the lake experience moved to Day 5.

Suggested overnight: Srinagar
Day 02

Srinagar — Gulmarg excursion — Srinagar

Leave after breakfast for Gulmarg, allowing approximately 2–3 hours each way, with longer journeys possible during snow or heavy traffic. Enjoy the meadow setting and views around the resort. The Gulmarg Gondola is an optional activity requiring advance tickets; the booked phase, operating conditions and local access arrangements will determine the visit. Return to Srinagar for the night. This is a dedicated Gulmarg day; Sonamarg is not added to the same programme.

Suggested overnight: Srinagar
Day 03

Srinagar to Pahalgam — Awantipora and Lidder Valley

Drive to Pahalgam, allowing approximately 3–4 hours plus stops. An Awantipora temple-ruins visit and a brief stop in the Pampore area can be included if time and access permit. Arrive at your hotel, then enjoy a gentle walk or viewpoint beside the Lidder River. Leave the outlying valleys for the following full day rather than rushing them after the transfer.

Suggested overnight: Pahalgam
Day 04

Pahalgam — Aru and Betaab Valleys

Explore Aru Valley and Betaab Valley with time for short walks, photographs and lunch. Local sightseeing vehicles may be required under the arrangements in force; these will be specified in your quote. Chandanwari can replace one valley visit when open and suitable for the season, rather than automatically adding another long outing. Return to your Pahalgam hotel. Entrance tickets and local transport are included only when quoted.

Suggested overnight: Pahalgam
Day 05

Pahalgam to Srinagar — Mughal gardens

Return to Srinagar after breakfast, allowing approximately 3–4 hours on the road. After lunch, visit Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh if open and timing allows. The remaining afternoon is for the Dal Lake experience if it was deferred on arrival, or a relaxed lakefront visit. Keep the evening unhurried before your final night in Srinagar.

Suggested overnight: Srinagar
Day 06

Depart Srinagar

Transfer from your Srinagar hotel or houseboat to the airport according to your confirmed flight. Allow the locally advised time for airport access and security. No out-of-town sightseeing is scheduled today. If you want Sonamarg, an additional night is recommended so that it receives its own excursion day.
