KashmirA valley journey shaped by your season.

Two hill-town settings, one measured journey.
An eight-day private journey with one arrival night in Delhi, two nights in Shimla, three in Manali and one in Chandigarh. Discover Kufri, the Ridge and Christ Church, then Hadimba Temple, Old Manali and Solang Valley. Chandigarh breaks the long return journey before Delhi. Road days are kept largely for travel, with extra sightseeing dependent on arrival time.
This is a proposed itinerary, not a guaranteed departure or availability statement. The final route, travel connections and services will be confirmed in your written proposal.
Kufri, Shimla’s Ridge, Christ Church and Mall Road
Hadimba Temple, Old Manali and a Solang Valley excursion
Chandigarh overnight to break the journey back to Delhi
Meet your driver at the airport and transfer to your Delhi hotel. Keep the day flexible after your international journey. An India Gate drive-past or a short visit in the New Delhi area may be arranged for early arrivals, but no full city tour is assumed. Rest before the next day’s journey into the hills.
Suggested overnight: DelhiDepart after breakfast for Shimla, allowing approximately 8–10 hours including normal breaks, with longer travel possible during busy periods or poor road conditions. Check in to your hotel and relax. A short Mall Road walk may be possible if you arrive early enough and your hotel location makes it practical; it is not promised after a late arrival.
Suggested overnight: ShimlaTake a morning excursion to Kufri if road and weather conditions allow. Return to Shimla for a walking visit around the Ridge, Christ Church and Mall Road. Choose a comfortable walking pace, as the historic centre has slopes and pedestrian sections. Jakhoo Temple is an optional alternative requiring extra time and suitable access; it is not added automatically to an already full day.
Suggested overnight: ShimlaLeave early for Manali via Mandi and the Kullu Valley. Allow approximately 8–10 hours including breaks, sometimes longer with traffic or roadworks. Enjoy the scenery during the journey, with short stops when practical. Arrive at your Manali hotel and rest. Naggar, Kasol and major sightseeing detours are not scheduled on this transfer day.
Suggested overnight: ManaliVisit Hadimba Devi Temple and the surrounding cedar-forest setting, then explore Old Manali at a relaxed pace. After a lunch break, continue to Vashisht village and its temple area if desired. Finish with free time on Mall Road. Access to religious sites and bathing areas follows local rules; bathing or adventure activities are not assumed.
Suggested overnight: ManaliMake a dedicated excursion to Solang Valley for mountain scenery and time at leisure. Cable-car and adventure activities are optional, independently operated and subject to availability. An extension through Atal Tunnel to Sissu may be quoted in advance when road access, local permissions and weather allow; if included, reduce time elsewhere to keep the day manageable. Rohtang Pass is a separate, permit-dependent alternative, not an automatic extra on the same day. Return to Manali.
Suggested overnight: ManaliDepart early for Chandigarh, allowing approximately 8–10 hours including breaks, with longer journeys possible during heavy traffic or disruption. Check in and relax. A brief Sukhna Lake visit may be possible after an early arrival; Rock Garden and other attractions are not guaranteed after a long road day. Overnight in Chandigarh rather than continuing directly to Delhi.
Suggested overnight: ChandigarhIf your onward schedule allows, visit Rock Garden or Sukhna Lake before leaving Chandigarh; choose a short visit rather than a full city tour. Drive to Delhi, allowing approximately 5–6 hours plus any sightseeing and additional traffic delays. Plan only a suitably late onward flight with a generous buffer, or add a Delhi night for an early departure the following day.
