Day 01: Arrive Chennai Arrive at Chennai International Airport, the vibrant gateway to Southern India. Our representative will warmly welcome you and escort you to your hotel. Chennai, established in 1639 by the East India Company, is known for its rich cultural heritage and modern charm. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Chennai.
Day 02: Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (140 km / 4 hrs) After breakfast, embark on a guided Chennai city tour covering Marina Beach, Gandhi Memorial, Kala Kshetra, Mylapore Temple, and Kapaleeshwarar Temple. Later, drive to Mahabalipuram with an en-route visit to Kanchipuram, the ancient Pallava capital, famed as the “City of 1000 Temples.” Explore its historic temples, some dating back to the 7th and 8th centuries, adorned with wall paintings and Dravidian architecture.
